KAITLYN ATKINS joined Wimberly Lawson Wright Daves & Jones in 2022, and works out of the Firm's Nashville office. The focus of her law practice is Workers' Compensation Defense. Prior to entering private practice, Kaitlyn served as a Reserve Police Officer with the City of Cullman Police Department. Kaitlyn received her Associate of Science degree in General Studies, summa cum laude, from Wallace State Community College in 2016, and her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, magna cum laude, from Athens State University in 2018. Thereafter, she graduated from Mississippi College School of Law, cum laude, in 2021. During law school she served as a student attorney for the Mississippi College School of Law Child Welfare & Family Justice Clinic, representing indigent parents in Child Protection Service Proceedings, and as an intern on the RocNation Mississippi Prison Reform Project Now. She has been admitted to practice law by the Tennessee Bar. When not in the office, Kaitlyn enjoys cooking, finding unique new restaurants, watching college football, and relaxing with her three dogs - Lucy, Kasha and Walter.
