TYLER S. WATERFIELD joined Wimberly Lawson Wright Daves & Jones in 2022, and works out of the Firm's Knoxville office. The focus of his law practice is workers' compensation defense. Tyler also practices in the areas of estate planning, general civil litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. Prior to joining Wimberly Lawson, Tyler worked at a local law firm of which he was co-founder and co-managing partner. Tyler received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, and his law degree from Albany Law School, Albany, NY. During law school, Tyler was heavily involved with the moot court program, competing in trial and appellate advocacy competitions, and participated in student government, serving as ABA Representative for the Student Bar Association. He is a member of the bar in Tennessee and New York. In addition to his law practice with the Firm, Tyler is a Guardian ad Litem with the Knox County Juvenile Court, and was formerly a pro bono contract attorney for Legal Aid of East Tennessee. When not in the office, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife Casey and son Wesley, and when they allow, playing golf, going to concerts and seeing local live music, playing guitar, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols through thick and thin.
